PARTNERS IN TRANSFORMATION

Touching The Earth With The Power of Partnership With Heaven And One Another.

OUR PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY

Our first love and partnership with Jesus is the chief cornerstone of everything we do, the most vital force in our lives. The covenantal relationship with Him is what fuels us and reveals our true identity in God. This communion with God in the secret place of our hearts is the place where we become impregnated with Heaven’s mandate as we learn to walk with God on the earth.

It is this Inner Court Partnership with God that determines our outer court territory in the world. We believe that this place where we begin to understand our identity will bring personal transformation which will in turn enable us to bring  about change  to the geography of wherever we walk and live.

God desires to release a commanded blessing from heaven as His people learn to walk together in unity of heart and purpose. ( Psalm 133). This unity is manifested as we walk in real, life given relationships with heaven and one another. We believe that placing this type of relationship first, before outer court ministry activity positions us for a greater release of God’s transforming power as well as the sharing of the joys of true kingdom fellowship in the Body of Christ on the earth.  John 13: 25” By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another.”

Sustained, believing prayer married to compassionate, focused  kingdom action is one of the keys to seeing transformation happen in our lives, cities and regions. God touches us in ways that allow us to be the answer to our own prayers as we become living testimonies to the power of His goodness on the earth.

Doctrinal Beliefs

The Trinity

We believe that there is one God, infinitely perfect and eternally existent in the persons of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the eternal deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His appearance on earth through a virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death to take away the sins of the world and restore right relationship with God, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal future return to earth in power and glory. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the fullness of the Holy Spirit as the empowerment of the Christian for witness and service. We believe that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are operative and necessary for the church today. We believe that the Bible is the Holy Spirit-inspired, authoritative Word of God and that it is eternally reliable.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that repentance toward God, faith in Jesus and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are necessary for salvation.

The Great Sacrifice
We believe in the importance of the Lord's Supper and emphasize that all believers should partake regularly with others remembering the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord, celebrating the new covenant with God and with one another, anticipating His glorious return.

Life of Purity
We believe in the sanctity of life, celibacy for singles, sexual purity for all and the sacredness of marriage. We will develop a covenant that addresses these matters in more detail for our interns and staff. We believe that "God hates divorce" (Malachi 2:16) and that it is detrimental to society. We do believe, however, that divorce may be permissible where marital infidelity or abandonment has occurred (Matthew 19:9; 1 Corinthians 7:15). In such cases the leaders of the church must have walked with the individual to affirm the action taken.

A Chosen People
We believe in God's continued calling on Israel, and we accept a calling to stand with, comfort and encourage the Jewish people throughout the world. (Romans 1:16; Romans 11:11-26)

The Great Commission
We believe that every Christian is given a responsibility to respond to Christ's commission to the disciples to 'Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. -And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues: They shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them: they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.'(Mark 16:15-18)

Five Fold
We believe that when Jesus ascended He gave the gifts of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to the church for the purpose of equipping the church and bringing the body of Christ into maturity (Ephesians 4:1-11) and that these ministry gifts continue today. We also believe that five fold ministry is purposed to train the body of Christ so that all believers can, in the power of the Holy Spirit, demonstrate the kingdom of heaven here on earth. We believe in preaching the gospel, 'with signs following.' And ' all things are possible to those who believe.'

One Body
We believe in one universal church that is the body of Christ. We believe that Christ is its head. We believe that all who are born again are its members. We believe the church's purpose is offering worship to God, fellowship, ministry and instruction to itself, and evangelism and service to the world. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in baptizing believers by immersion in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that God has entrusted to His church both the message and ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5) and that we must be proactive in tearing down dividing walls based on racial, socioeconomic or denominational backgrounds.
