The Call

We are calling for an army of hungry, desperate pioneers, lovers and worshipers that want to experiment, innovate, and explore the mysteries of Christ and His kingdom together in worship. We believe the Lord will saturate us with His kingdom and His love producing an overflow that will release boldness, salvation, signs, wonders, healing and miracles to our region and beyond. We will be exploring the mysteries of God through sound, harmony, antiphonal singing, prophetic song, soaking, dance, art, banners, prophetic proclamation, and apostolic decrees, acts of generosity and kindness and revelation from the word of God

Why the term “experiment”?

Experimentation Defined: To try something new, especially in order to gain experience:

Experimental music is a term introduced by composer John Cage in 1955 and defined as

"An act the outcome of which is unknown"

The reality of this new journey is that we are hungry and want to grow in the knowledge and experience of the revelation of Jesus Christ and His kingdom.   We also believe that our Bible knowledge about the topics of the kingdom, God’s love, prayer, worship, faith, healing, miracles and transformation, without correlating experience in the here and now, is pointless.   So, we desire to move forward in this worship experiment knowing that the Lord has marked the spot were we are to begin.  Past that we are launching out like Abraham into an exploration, discovery and destination into that which is unknown.

Heb 11:8

By faith Abraham, being called, obeyed to go out into the place which

He was to receive for an inheritance, and went out,  not knowing where he was going.

What is known is that the Lord is faithful.  What is known is that our hearts are desperately hungry for more of His presence.  What is known is that we don’t want to go unless the Lord continues to lead us forward by His presence

  Ex 33:15

And he saith unto Him, If Thy presence is not going--take us not up

from this place;

Some things we really value in our hearts.

Unity

Contending in Prayer for Psalm 133

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for

brethren to dwell together in unity!

Like the precious oil upon the head, that ran down upon the beard,

upon Aaron's beard, that ran down to the hem of his garments;

As the dew of Hermon that descendeth on the mountains of Zion; for

there hath Jehovah commanded the blessing, life for evermore.

A deep unity and partnership with heaven and one another that releases the Lord’s commanded blessing, bringing awakening to His church and salvation and transformation to our region.

Discipleship/Training/Activation

Rising up anointed and skilled psalmists, worship and prayer leaders, prophetic artists, dancers and anointed preachers that will trumpet and carry the sound of the Kingdom and God’s glory throughout the nations of the earth.

The Bridegroom Message;   A Call to Intimacy

The Bridegroom message is a call to active intimacy with God. The Bridal message speaks of God’s invitation for us to experience the deep things of His heart (emotions, affections). To enjoy active intimacy with Jesus includes feeling His heart for us. The Bridal message speaks of experiencing Jesus’ emotions (desire, affections). To understand Jesus as a passionate Bridegroom is to soon see ourselves as a cherished Bride. Intimacy causes our hearts to be lovesick for Jesus (inflamed; enraptured; overcome by His love)     (Taken from International House of Prayer www.ihop.org).

The Bridal Paradigm:    A call to action motivated by love

The Bridal Paradigm refers to the “bridal perspective or view” of the Kingdom of God. We see the Kingdom through the eyes of a wholehearted Bride with loyal devoted love that leads to holy obedience, soul winning and building up the Body of Christ.  (Taken from International House of Prayer www.ihop.org)

One New Man & Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem

We believe the Lords intension is for Jew and gentle to walk in true unity and peace through the messiah Jesus.   We also value the freedom, and liberty we are given in messiah to honor our biblical Judaic roots in worship, the feasts, as well as carry in our hearts the mandate to pray for the Pease of Jerusalem.  We are also committed to praying for the only real peace plan in the Middle East which is Yeshua’s rule and reign in hearts of men.

"For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one...having abolished in His flesh the enmity...so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both in one body through the cross" (Ephesians 2:14-16).

The First Nations People

We honor and are committed to intersession for the original host people of the land

believing for there full restoration, destiny and activation as the original leaders and gatekeepers of the land.

Loving the Poor, the Widow and the Orphan

We believe that any true expression of worship in God’s church must be to love the poor, the widow, and the fatherless.

Jas 1:27

Pure religion and undefiled before our

God and Father is this, to visit the

fatherless and widows in their

affliction, and to keep oneself

unspotted from the world

Why Historic Williston, Vermont?

Pictuire of Williston's Old Brick Church

Some time after coming back from our trip to Israel and Cyprus, in March of last year, I was driving through the historic district of Williston Vermont. As I was going past the Old Brick Church, I felt the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit invade the climate around me. I knew by the Spirit there was something the Lord wanted to get my attention about concerning this Historic Church. I was so taken by the Lord’s presence that I literally stopped to get of car and walk around the church building. After discovering that it was locked I began to peek through the windows in the basement and look through the stain glass as I walked around the church. I went away from the church that day knowing there was more.

So every chance I could get I would drive by the church or have my morning devotionals around the grounds of the church. There is even a public playground about 100 yards in the back of the Church which I would frequent with my son, Josiah. Every once in while I let my eyes gaze above the bell tower of the church into the sky above it almost expecting to see a supernatural sign from the Lord in the sky.

In fact on Cyprus it was prophesied to me that I would return and ask for and receive 5 signs, each one increasing in magnitude. I actually pondered for some time what to ask for from the Lord as my first sign. I finally prayed “Give me a sign of direction so easy to understand that a child could understand it. So I kept on going back to Williston. I then started doing some research on the internet about the church and discovered the this church with one of the birthing canals in the late 70’s for one of the most successful and continuing apostolic works in the state, Maranatha Christian Church.

Well on June 2, 2007 I believe I received my first sign. The cupola containing the Church bell was hit by lighting; striking the bell and actually cracking it.

There is much more to share concerning the significance of the cracked bell that I will take an evening to share about in the future as we begin our journey together.   Then the Holy Spirit whispered these words to me concerning Historic Williston:

"Clear the brush, Establish an altar of worship and the sound will be as a 1000 cannons going off”

So this is, we believe, where the Lord has marked His spot for us.  So this is where we are going to begin our journey together.

Pictues below:  The Bell tower restorations being completed.

How will it work?

Well are just not that smart so let’s keep it simple!!!!!!!!!!

Step One:   Establish an altar of worship

Step Two:   Worship

Step Three:  Drink deeply of God’s Love

Step Four:   Continue to worship

Step Five:     Do what we see the Father doing

Step Six:      Continue to worship

Step Seven:  Continue to drink deeply of God’s Love.

Step Eight:   Start again on Step two.

Will we always meet in one location?

I don’t believe we will.  Currently the Lord has only marked the spot where to begin.  But we believe there will be multiple locations and a mobile dimension of this ministry that allows us to carry what the Lord births in us throughout Vermont, and to the nations of the earth.  So we must stay tuned for more as the Lord leads us forward.

What are we???

When God looks down from heaven at our region and sees all those that have received Him  and call on His name, regardless of denominational distinctive and expressions; His eyes gaze upon one body, one family, one group of people called His Church.

We fully believe that we are a unique expression of His Church as an intercessory mission base that desires to become a bridge and an intersecting point of unity for many believers.    Participants may be covenanted in other local assemblies throughout the region; but want to join us for all or parts of our journey.

We want to be a place of an infectious and contagious river of God’s love that is committed to bless the church at large as well as all those that come through our door; whether churched or unchurched,  rich or poor, widow, orphaned, brokenhearted.  All are welcome.

We also recognize that to complete our calling we are going to need many that will be full time with us; being knitted by the Spirit to our heart, vision, and expressions of worship as we pursue a lifestyle of prayer and worship and build the mission base.

Many of these that come to participate will be able to maintain their vital individual relationships with other congregations.  We rejoice in that commitment and encourage the bridge of relationships that is possible and good for the Body of Christ.   We also know that others will come to see the mission base as their primary place of fellowship, wanting to give all their time and energy to this calling.   In light of this, we will trust the Lord for many pastoral fathers and mothers; that by God’s grace will create a safe and healthy community atmosphere and serve all the families and people that will join us in this calling.
